Martin Toth Racing has made a major step forward in its motorsport journey. We are excited to announce the purchase of a Renault Clio Cup race car, which we will campaign in the 2026 season of Clio Cup Bohemia.
This marks our first major commitment to circuit racing and represents an important milestone alongside our ongoing involvement with the F4 CEZ Academy. It is a significant step in our long-term goal of progressing through the ranks of real-world motorsport.
During the Salzburgring weekend, where we were already competing in the Renault Twingo Euro Cup, we had the opportunity to get our first taste of the Clio Cup car on track. The objective was purely testing and learning, rather than racing.
Overall, we were very pleased with the first outing. Despite running on heavily used tyres, the pace was encouraging and we were able to stay relatively close to more experienced competitors.
At this stage, the focus is on learning. Martin is continuing to understand how to extract the maximum performance from the car, while the team is becoming familiar with the technical side of operating and developing a Clio Cup machine.
This is only the beginning, but it is an exciting new chapter for Martin Toth Racing. We are looking forward to continuing our development and preparing for the remainder of the 2026 Clio Cup Bohemia season.
