Our first qualifying session with Aditis Racing took place in challenging mixed conditions, with a damp track marking our very first experience driving the Clio Cup car in the wet.
The team made a bold tyre strategy call by fitting dry tyres on the front axle and wet tyres on the rear. The gamble paid off perfectly, allowing us to set the provisional pole position.
Unfortunately, our fastest lap was later deleted after we were penalized for remaining in the pit lane fast lane during a red flag procedure. While it was a disappointing way to lose pole position, the pace we showed throughout the session was incredibly encouraging.
Considering it was our first wet qualifying with the car, securing provisional pole demonstrated the potential of both the package and the team. A huge thank you to everyone at Aditis Racing for their outstanding work and support — we're looking forward to building on this performance throughout the rest of the weekend.
Provisional pole on our first wet qualifying with the car — a strong sign of what's to come.
